Frogtown Cottage is located close to the Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah History Museum, Savannah Children's Museum, Battlefield Memorial Park, the Savannah Visitors Center, and the SCAD Museum of Art. This home is also an excellent option for families visiting SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) as it is very close to Barnard Village, Boundary Hall, Turner House, Eichberg Hall, and The Hive/Dyson House. The home was originally built in 1860 and was used as a home for workers at the nearby Roundhouse for the Georgia Railroad. In fact, there are 2 other worker homes owned by the Coastal Heritage Society next door.
